Kovalainen to get first taste of TL11

Heikki Kovalainen will have the first opportunity to put Lotus' 2011 challenger through its paces thanks to a rather interesting decision making technique...

The TL11 will be introduced to fans on Monday, but will only hit the track in Valencia on 2 February, missing out the first day of pre-season testing.

Kovalainen has revealed that he, rather than team-mate Jarno Truli, will be behind the wheel next Wednesday.

"I will be driving the car first, we tossed a coin and I won..." the Finn announced on his Twitter page.
